jeanna beck

Jeanna currently resides in Knoxville, TN, where she spends much of her free time hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains and surrounding areas. She is an avid outdoorswoman who enjoys hiking, backpacking, trail running, sport climbing, mountain biking, flat water paddling, and herbal medicine. Jeanna is also a tiny house aficionado, staying in them whenever possible during her travels. She and her canine, Gabby, enjoy long walks through the neighborhood, practicing yoga (Gabby does a great downward facing dog), quiet evenings at home and impromptu road trips.

 Professionally, Jeanna works for a nonprofit that provides shelter and stabilization for children and families experiencing homelessness. She has over 15 years in nonprofit management, board and staff development, fundraising, event planning, strategic planning, community organizing, and crisis intervention and management.
